The 2025 edition of the CAESAR Cigar of the Year was, once again, a truly memorable experience – an occasion where cigar connoisseurs upheld the tradition and spirit of excellence that define this European competition.
This year, the jury was composed of nine members: His Excellency Hassan Abouyoub, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Romania and Honorary President of the Jury; Mr. Flavius Teodosiu Jr.; Mr. Victor Martin; Mr. Eduard Uzunov; Mr. Tudor Furir; and Mr. Dan Vardie, Founder of CAESAR and President of the Jury. Three distinguished new members joined the jury this year: Mr. Mihai Năsui, Mr. Alin Mărginean, and His Excellency Tigran H. Galstyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Romania.
Carefully evaluated by the experts, only ten cigars reached the final round. Across four rigorous sessions, connoisseurs meticulously analyzed the blends in a blind tasting, considering every nuance of aroma, strength, and craftsmanship.
For members and aficionados alike, the event was not only a competition but also a celebration of craftsmanship, heritage, and the refined pleasures of cigar culture. The meticulous evaluation process highlighted the artistry behind each creation, ensuring that only the most exceptional cigars would be recognized.
All eyes now turn to the moment everyone has been anticipating: the announcement of this year’s winner. Stay tuned as we prepare to reveal the winner of this year’s CAESAR Cigar of the Year — a moment that celebrates mastery, tradition, and the art of fine cigars.
CAESAR Cigar of the Year continues to honor the dedication of connoisseurs who preserve and elevate the tradition, creating experiences that go beyond taste to celebrate refinement, camaraderie, and excellence in every detail.
